Daniel likes to best describe himself as omnipresent. Always on the move, his passion is travelling. He believes India is best experienced by driving through her. His bread and butter is earned from a career of directing & producing ad films. He is a serious photography hobbyist and loves capturing moments into a still image.

Eric Rego

Eric loves his camera and is proud of the images he can produce with it. He is a fun- loving fella with a ‘ready- to-help’ attitude (which gets him into trouble sometimes!). Eric was deeply moved when one of his friends suffered domestic violence and survived to fight back. This was a starting point for Eric to start thinking of contributing his bit to the society. His help and support to this friend was transformed to a broader vision of helping all those survivors who are ready to find their place despite their disfigurement.

Roopashri Sinha

Having worked in the development field as a researcher and process documentation expert for 25 years, Roopashri has gained a lot personally and professionally from the non-government and non-profit sector. She is one lady who has the gumption to call a spade, a spade. As a burns accident survivor, she found her colleagues, employers and activist friends and supporters extending unconditional support to her and her family. Her commitment to Palash stems from her perspective for a better world for all excluded communities.

Sandhya Panaskar

Sandhya lives by the statement, “I want to change the world”. She can be best described as a fiery, no nonsense, sensitive person. She believes in walking the talk and feels that the social sector is one of the best means in changing the world. She ensures that she seldom loses an opportunity to make a difference. She finds the medium of cultural activities best to spread social awareness. When not working for Palash, you will find her coordinating rendezvous with friends (every free time is spent on the phone!).

Shirin Juwaley

Shirin discovered her passion for the social sector post her acid attack in 1998. Her eight years of experience of working with children, youth and adults helped her hone her skills in life-skill development and implementation, capacity building and resource mobilisation. She has a Masters degree in Development & Human Rights (UK) and earned a distinction (which she is much proud of J) for her thesis “Does disfigurement lead to disability due to social exclusion?”. Besides managing Palash, Shirin is a serious shopaholic, loves discovering new places and enjoys toying with camera.
